The Hydro Majestic Hotel

Indulge in an intimate two night stay at The Hydro Majestic Hotel, paired with exquisite dining and panoramic views of the beautiful Blue Mountains.
The Hydro Majestic Hotel, holds a storied history dating back to the late 19th century. The hotel was originally constructed in the 1890s by hotelier Mark Foy, who envisioned a luxurious retreat in the Blue Mountains. Inspired by European spa resorts, Foy aimed to create a grand establishment that would attract wealthy guests seeking rest and relaxation amidst the region’s natural beauty. In the latter half of the 20th century, the Hydro Majestic fell into decline as changing travel trends and economic challenges affected its appeal. However, in the early 21st century, the hotel underwent a major restoration effort led by entrepreneur Huong Nguyen, who aimed to revive its former glory. The restoration project sought to preserve the hotel’s historic character while updating its facilities to meet modern standards. Overall, the Hydro Majestic Hotel represents a captivating blend of history, luxury, and natural beauty, making it a cherished landmark in the Blue Mountains and a cherished part of Australia’s cultural heritage.
Megalong Restaurant
LOT 101
Nestled at the bottom of Blackheath Glen in the Megalong Valley, LOT 101 is dedicated to demonstrating that they don’t need to choose between wonderful food and a sustainable, productive environment.
Across approximately 600 Ha of native bushland and farmland under the cliffs of the Megalong, they grow a huge variety of vegetables and fruit and raise sheep, cattle, ducks and chickens. Everything they do is done to constantly improve and enhance the ecosystem in which they live and work to provide great food and protect and restore the wild habitat, biodiversity, water quality and soil health of this magic place. Experience the magic of LOT 101 and its surroundings. They are hidden in the bush, surrounded by wombat burrows, the sound of birds and softly bubbling creeks.

Choosing the route for a driving experience is a lot more complex than people think. We select sealed roads that are great to drive but also have zero or minimal potholes, hazards, traffic and so on. We personally drive the route to inspect it and speak to locals for tips on the best driving roads.
Lead Car For Your Safety
One of the most convenient parts of our events is having a lead car at the front of the pack. We’ll alert you via radio of any road hazards, potholes, cyclists in advance so you can have absolute peace of mind and just focus on driving!
